In years past there has been an old acronym that sums up American and non-Americans sentiments towards the Ford brand; that is when you hear the word Ford you associate it with the thought (Fixed Or Repaired Daily). For many people when they hear the word Ford its a kind of punch line, and there is no real justification for a serious car buyer to get one outside of nostalgia or national pride. All of that seems to be changing with Ford rolling out a whole new fleet that features innovative engineering and fuel economy as well has just flat out good style and aesthetics. The excited thing is that this is being felt across their whole fleet and affecting every price range, so if you’re a serious car buyer at any level it might be time to consider getting a Ford.

1: Ford Fiesta ST

Up first is the Ford Fiesta ST the mini vehicle does not seem like it would come out of an American company. Its an affordable performance car with international buzz. This little 1.6 liter inline four-mated to a big turbo that packs a 197 horse power, 6-speed manual transmission and a top notch handling that draws compassions to the BMW M3. the major difference is that the ST is a sub $25,000 daily driver car that can go 0-60 in about 7 seconds (yes please). not bad considering this is a front wheel drive sub compact.

2. Ford 2017 F-150 SVT Raptor

There is not much more that needs to be said when you hear F-150 it has been the gold standard for trucks for as long as their have been pick ups, and the list of innovations to be put into these puppies has changed trucks more times than 1. That is why the Ford F-150 is the best selling car in America pretty consistently. Not to surprising they are going to have a few tricks up their sleeve to improve upon the already impressive resume, they plan on making the overall weight of the car significantly lighter thanks to a new all aluminum body and frame and the old cast iron 6.2 liter V8 will be replaced by a twin turbo 3.5 liter EcoBoost V6 a move that Ford promises will best anything they have done to date. A for spokesperson says, “The new raptor isn’t just about power.”  This car also boasts one of the best clutch on the market.

3. The Ford GT

After the release of the best Mustang in decades (maybe ever) to celebrate their 50th anniversary, Ford bested itself with the releasre of the Ford GT. This is in line with their iconic GT40 cars that won Le Mans from 1966-1969. The new GT is nothing short of a top tier super car. The car boasts a 3.5 liter twin turbo Eco Boost V6 that puts out a whopping 600 horse power. This is the car they think will take back their place of supremacy at Le Mans where they have had a nearly 50 year drought. On top of all of that the car just flat out looks cool, there is no way to deny it, this is a super car.
